Common Crow Butterfly - Kemenuh Butterfly Park, Bali, Indonesia by Andrew Priest, on Flickr

I not 100% sure but this butterfly does appear to be a Common Crow [Euploea core].

We spent a fair bit of time exploring the Kemenuh Butterfly Park in Bali, Indonesia. I can highly recommend it if you are in Bali and in the Ubud area.

Hi Everybody,

3 of my first real 'macro' photos. I took advantage of 'lensfest' and bought a 60mm macro. Then a used Godox flash. A snoot was made from about a buck's worth of supplies from Wally World and some painter's tape. A week on the south shore of Lake Erie is providing opportunity.

This guy was "Lord of the Kitchen Sink" in my RV. He got to go outside after posing for these photos.

This guy I can identify. It is a 'Fragile Forktail' (Ischnura posita). We have lots of these here.

Five from a Saturday morning Spouse and I spent at the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge. The birds were not so photogenic today, but the Odonata were out to play.

This poor dragonfly made the mistake of flying into our house. My wife swatted and wounded it, unable to fly. I froze him and used it as a photo specimen.

Plain Lacewing (Cethosia penthesilea) - - Kemenuh Butterfly Park, Bali, Indonesia by Andrew Priest, on Flickr

A rather damaged Plain Lacewing butterfly which seemingly was carrying on life as, well a butterfly.

We spent a fair bit of time exploring the Kemenuh Butterfly Park in Bali, Indonesia. I can highly recommend it if you are in Bali and in the Ubud area.
