Hi,

Olympus says:
Maximum Image Magnification 0.36x (at Normal Mode)
[0.72x (at Macro Mode)]
http://www.getolympus.com/us/en/lenses/pen-omd/wide-zoom/m-zuiko-lens-msc-ed-m-12-50mm-f3-5-6-3.html
(click on 'Specs' tab)

I also found this:
http://www.photographyblog.com/reviews/olympus_m_zuiko_digital_ed_12_50mm_35_63_ez_review/
Olympus claims you can fill the frame with a subject that measures 48x36mm, but as the example below indicates, you can actually achieve a considerably higher magnification and fill the frame with something that measures only 36x27mm.
However, that's about 1:2 (0.5x) magnification; better than 0.36x but definitely worse than 0.72x.

I don't have one to test myself, so I can't be sure.

Thanks!
Barry

I was just reading up on the Kodak S-1 (for some reason I can't really explain), and see that your chart does not include their M43 lenses. They have the SZ ED 12-45mm f/3.5-6.3 AF, SZ ED 42.5-160mm f/3.9-5.9 AF, and the SL 400mm F6.7 Fieldscope (I'll credit DPReview for that list...).

who knows what kind of quality these lenses produce, and it's unlikely anyone would really be interested, but if you want a comprehensive list... :)

I think this is the most epic lens thread period!!! This is awesome to say the least. I am monitoring it daily for content and wisdom from fellow users...I can see this one at, er, 1000 pages in the future.

Sorry, been away for awhile. I've started adding in the missing lenses and updating the ones that have shipped.

Regarding the Tokina 100/2.9, is it a Cinema lens, or a stills one? I've avoided adding Cine lenses because they tend to be of limited appeal (high price, special functionality), and they're basically mount-interchangeable (so there are a lot).

I'm still trying to find specs on the two Kodak lenses.

Hi, the Tokina I linked is a Cine version, but it is a Macro lens. I don't know if there's a non-cine version. The original lens was $1899 in PL mount; I don't know if that's still the case.

I think the Kodak lenses have been canceled, at least that's what @jyc860923 said, and he's in China and has bought at least one.

Please also add the new Mikaton (Zhongyi) lenses... 25mm, 35mm, 42.5mm:

Thanks, I've updated the section on Mitakon lenses.
